In Pornic, Loire-Atlantique, the La Boutinardière camp site has put its trust in Edsun for over 10 years! They have once again called upon our expertise to develop their water offering.

Creation of the Mini-Magicone project

They wanted an unusual project, they wanted to be the first: and they are! This is how the first ever Mini-Magicone in France was born!

It took several months, even 2 years, for a project of this scale to see the light of day. Mr and Mrs De Villairs, managers of the La Boutinardière camp site, contacted Edsun for a project to extend their water park in 2021.

To complement an existing offering

The camp site had already had a chance to work with Edsun on several occasions for projects that are still in operation to this day:

DCF 1.0 — An outdoor 4-track Slide’TOB – Pentagliss – created in 2007

Boutinardiere_Piscine_Couverte_2007 — A slide duo including a 2-track Slide’TOB and Must’TOB in a covered pool, installed in 2007

Boutinardiere_Jeux_Plein_Air_2017 — A large play area made up of a zip line, large themed leisure structures, a rope pyramid, spring toys, jungle gyms and a sand pit, in 2017

The camp site wanted a water project that would be memorable, with a strong visual impact. They wanted their park to be instantly recognisable, able to be used as a key image in their communication.

They came to the right place! At Edsun, we call this a “signature project”: it’s kind of our speciality!

From idea to realisation

Our internal research office carried out an initial 3D projection, then the creative exchanges began, leading the project little by little towards a more innovative scale. The Magicone was presented to the camp site in late 2021.

Several months later, after all the technical and administrative requirements and the structural preparations necessary to install this set, the Magicone set-up took place in the month of April 2023.

The Edsun installation teams raised the bar for innovation.

The set-up went well. The new water park at La Boutinardière Camping Village, including the Magicone but also a Rafting Slide, opened its doors for the 2023 season on 16 May! We wish them many wonderful years of use, as well as millions of laughs and cries of joy!

Outdoor Game

This camp site’s play area is a true paradise for kids. It is made up of several sets: 2 in-ground trampolines, 1 rope tree structure with perched nests, 2 jungle gyms, 1 zip line, 1 Infini IMCR6500C structure, 1 Ginko PCH 2001 structure, 1 9-module Labyrinth structure, 2 spring toys and 2 innovative sand sets (1 sand pit and 1 digger).
