Review of Boris Sprenger
Piscine de la ville de Broc, Suisse
“Our municipal swimming pool was built in the early 1960s. In 2023, we decided to renovate it and give it a new lease of life. It’s a family-oriented facility, so we expanded the non-swimmer pool and added a paddling pool. We wanted to create a balance between swimming and fun, so we added a slide. One of the project partners suggested that we entrust this part to Edsun Loisirs, and they showed us their work in Switzerland. Everything went smoothly. Based on our budget, we chose the type of slide and spent time discussing the colors. Broc is a beautiful town nestled on a plain at the foot of the Alps. The architectural environment was also very important. The proximity of the town’s historic Priory led us to favor beige and slate blue so that the slide would blend harmoniously into the landscape. This installation has become an emblem of our facility — and there’s nothing like it in the surrounding area. The slide was installed in just two weeks. Feedback from our users has been extremely positive. We got off to a flying start, and the site’s appeal has grown beyond the local community to reach a regional audience.”
