Le Pommier holiday park in France faced a dual challenge for its water slide installation.
A remarkable water slide installation
The first challenge was dismantling the old water slides, which the campsite no longer wished to keep.
These older slides made way for two spectacular new ones. The second challenge was the installation itself – a major technical feat, as the slides are perched 18 metres high. The assembly team used a crane to lift the support columns for the slides. At the same time, both ground and aerial manoeuvres had to be precise and well-coordinated, especially near the existing water slides. EDSUN once again demonstrated its expertise.
Each slide offers over 100 metres of glide – around 20 seconds of descent, which is truly exceptional for a water slide!
A new dry play area
To complement the water features, the campsite added outdoor dry play equipment. A large playground with an observatory theme was installed, including spring rockers, a climbing wall, rope nets, slides, and more.
