Our story
1992
Edsun Loisirs was founded by Edmond LOLLIOT. He was looking to equip his own swimming pool with a water slide, but unable to find one, he came up with the idea of developing a product that could meet professional demand.
He sketched the standards for Edsun slides, designed several product ranges, and had the parts manufactured by a company in Vendée, PIV, which was then managed by Daniel ROBIN.
1995
Daniel ROBIN acquired the company to develop the commercial potential of these products.
The challenge was met, and this acquisition initially brought Edsun Loisirs into the Vendée campsite market! At the request of clients, the company wanted to expand its activity to water slides and then to outdoor play equipment. It then entered into a partnership with Extébois, a company located in Deux-Sèvres. Edsun Loisirs started in a house in Les Landes Genusson with a few paper plans, a computer, a phone, and, above all, a lot of motivation!
2004
Emmanuel ROBIN, son of Daniel ROBIN, joined the company.
Listening to trends and the wishes of campsite owners, they established a partnership with the Turkish brand Polin Waterparks in 2005 to offer clients thrilling water slides.
In 2012, Emmanuel took over the management of Edsun Loisirs with the aim of emphasizing service and tailor-made solutions, and of guiding Edsun towards a promise of originality and quality. Today, the Edsun brand consolidates its position as a leader in the French water slide market and is expanding into the European market
