A distinctive new aquatic area
Camping Le Littoral has undertaken an upgrade of its aquatic area with the installation of new waterslides. The objective was clear: to introduce standout equipment capable of strengthening the site’s appeal while offering a variety of sliding experiences accessible to the whole family.
A project designed to stand out
In a highly competitive environment, Camping Le Littoral aimed to enhance its aquatic area with installations that could differentiate themselves from existing offerings. The project needed to meet a dual requirement: providing family-friendly attractions while also handling a high flow of holidaymakers during the peak summer season.
A constrained but optimised layout
The project was developed within a limited space and height. This constraint required careful consideration of the equipment layout to ensure a coherent and efficient integration.
The goal was to design a compact zone without compromising the appeal of the installations. Each slide was therefore designed to make the best use of the available space while maintaining a strong playful and visual impact.
Complementary and playful facilities
To meet the specifications, several types of slides were installed. A raft slide was selected to provide a more immersive and family-friendly experience. A double-lane slide was also added to encourage racing between users and enhance the competitive aspect.
A scoreboard completes the setup, adding an extra playful dimension by encouraging challenges between users and energising the aquatic area.
A customised visual identity
The project was further personalised with the integration of the campsite’s logo on the installations. This approach strengthens the site’s identity and ensures visual continuity between the aquatic area and Camping Le Littoral’s brand image.
The slides feature a dynamic colour palette made up of red, yellow, blue, and white. This choice enhances the visibility of the equipment while creating a coherent and attractive overall look within the aquatic area.
A technical construction in a constrained environment
The installation of the slides required highly structured site management. The particularly confined working space meant that every stage had to be carefully planned in advance, especially regarding lifting and crane operations.
The teams had to adapt their methods to optimise manoeuvres and ensure safe assembly. This coordination made it possible to deliver, position, and assemble all elements under good conditions despite the site constraints.
