A 200 m² pirate-themed playground for total immersion
Camping Paradis Ferme Erromardie, located in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques (France), has strengthened its family offering with the creation of a 200 m² outdoor playground fully themed around pirates. The project was designed to spark children’s imagination and enhance the overall holiday experience for families.
An immersive pirate-themed play area
The playground has been designed around a richly detailed pirate universe, featuring numerous decorative elements. The goal was to create a truly immersive setting where children can explore and invent their own adventures.
The area includes several iconic pirate-themed features such as skulls, bones, and treasure chests, all inspired by maritime and pirate worlds.
A variety of equipment for play and adventure
The 200 m² playground offers several modules adapted for children, promoting motor skills and group play.
Installed equipment includes a climbing wall, a slide, and a monkey bridge. These structures provide varied activities while encouraging agility, balance, and a sense of adventure.
A themed EPDM surface to extend the universe
The project also stands out thanks to a fully customised EPDM safety surface. It depicts a beach scene with a visual separation between yellow sand and blue sea.
Beyond its safety function, this surface plays a key role in immersion and storytelling within the playground design.
